Summary

As I looked at the wasted space in my fridge the horizontal beer bottles were taking and annoyed by their rolling, I had the idea to make a rack that would permit to store them in a more organized way on multiple levels.
As we never know how many booze may be required, depending on your household size, I made this modular with simple interlock design.

The pieces are named as below:

  • rdc means 1st floor
  • et / etage means 2+ floor (I would not recommend to get over two levels for stability requirements)
  • m means male and f means female. So you would get M and F for endings and MF for intermediate pieces.
  • entraxe means axis beam. You have two versions as the 2+ floors take less height.

So, for a typical 2x2 as in the picture, you will have to print :

  • Separateur_bouteilles_entraxe_rdc x 3
  • Separateur_bouteilles_entraxe_etage x 3
  • Separateur_bouteilles_rdc_m.stl x 2 (2 per beam)
  • Separateur_bouteilles_rdc_mf.stl x 2
  • Separateur_bouteilles_rdc_f.stl x 2
  • Separateur_bouteilles_et_m.stl x 2
  • Separateur_bouteilles_et_mf.stl x 2
  • Separateur_bouteilles_et_f.stl x 2

If you want to add one bottle per horizontal level, you would add these:

  • Separateur_bouteilles_entraxe_rdc x 1
  • Separateur_bouteilles_entraxe_etage x 1
  • Separateur_bouteilles_rdc_mf.stl x 2
  • Separateur_bouteilles_et_mf.stl x 2

You may see on the picture the very first version of this in the rear, 1st level.
I shortened it as it would take too much mater / space.
