Summary
After upgrading my China laser SH-K40 IV to OpenSource version LAOSLaser. I had to design a new panel hosting the control PCB with LCD (LAOS I2C panel V0.4). I added a laser indicator (red LED) and a manual trigger button. This version fits into the original panel window of my laser without modification.
Instructions
The yellow lines (layer 'Helper') show the panel window of laser housing and the 4 position for the PCB spacer. Cut out of 2 or 3 mm white acrylic (layer 'Cut'). Engrave the layer named 'Engrave'.
Before you remove the protection tape fill the engraved pictograms and characters with a black marker. Remove the tape and clean the surface with a flat piece of cotton and alcohol. With a 2-component glue fix the 4 spacer (M3 10mm PCB spacer) at the rear.
If you like a clear acrylic to protect the LCD just cut out the LCD window with 0.3mm increase in order to compensate the laser thickness (approx. 0.14mm for my laser machine type).
