Summary
This is a new design for a laser cut watch band - rallye style this time.
As usual I used it on leather but it can be used on thick fabric too.
Using a laser cutting machine makes it easier to have nice and precise cuts on the sides, the holes, etc.
Some leatherwork knoweledge is required to finish the project but I find laser cutting helps a lot when making a watch band and saves quite some time.
Material :
I recommend using leather 1mm thick or less.
Faux leather would probably work too but considering the low price of a small piece of genuine leather why not go for the real deal which is much more durable.
Instructions :
Sewing and / or glueing are required.
This thing is made of two parts, the part with the buckle (part 1) and the part with the holes for the buckle pin (part 2).
Basically you fold each part over itself and you sew it as you like (see photos).
