A remix of the very popular Beer bottle opener and cap gun. In this remix i've swapped out the elastic band (as mine kept snapping) and replace with 2 tension springs instead. I've also stiffened the trigger up as I broke the original (before I swapped to springs). In addition to the 3 x M3 by 18mm and the 3 x M3 by 8mm screws you'll also need 2 x M3 by 12mm to secure the springs.
The springs were from a variety box purchased from ebay. The dimensions are 7.7mm diameter x 16mm long x 0.5mm wire thickness (photos show the dims also), they don't need to be exact as long as the diameter is not bigger but they can be a bit shorter or a bit longer as long as they can reach the trigger without going beyond their elastic limit.
Assembly - push the springs in from the front on both halves, fit the pusher into one half ensuring that the small arm fits into the spring loop. Add the trigger, coin and magnet as per the original design and carefully push on the other half again ensuring that the small arm on the pusher fits into the spring loop. Fasten the main screws as per the original but not the M3 x 12mm screws. Test the pusher has engaged into both springs by sliding it down the gun, if correct the both springs should move with the slider. Slide the slide back to the front of the gun and fit the M3 x 12mm screws into either side making sure they go through the spring loops. Keep fastening until they are flush with the outside of the gun (They won't tighten against a stop so just stop when they are flush).
Hope you like the minor tweak to an already great design
