The file 'Throwing Noise Rocket 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 2.4MB.
Hi people,
After testing and printing several times, we discovered that the first version of the Throwing Noise Rocket was not perfect. It wasn't whistling and the thread wasn't fine enough, so we have updated a lot of things! We hope that you like the new design and please stay supporting us. We finally made the ultimate Throwing Noise Rocket, with everthing working, and getting to a decibel level of 80!
We have designed a throwing rocket that makes a lot of noise! We made this Throwing Noise Rocket for the challenge: #MakeItLoud . The intent was to design an interactive and inventive design, which wasn't in the challenge-section yet.
After a lot of research and thinking about how to make it, and how to make it interactive. We made several designs and this is the one which turned out to be the best. It's fully 3D-printable and every part can be printed separately. The colours can be changed to everyones desire.
Working:
The wind will pass through the gaps in the head of the rocket, this results in activating the propeller.
The propeller with the closed sections will act as a 'conductor' for the wind which passes through the propeller to the whistle-section.
The TNR (ThrowingNoiseRocket) is still a Work-In-Progress. This because we want to design more propellers with differents closed sections, which results in different levels of noise. Also we want to take a closer look to make it bigger/smaller/louder!
We hope you like the design and take a moment to try to print it and try it out yourself.
THROW, LISTEN, CATCH AND HAVE FUN!
Max and Daan.
