Here you have my first approach to mechanical switches for common wooden toy trains (e.g. BRIO, IKEA, etc.). The main differences to existing switches are that they can be used in all directions and upside down, which gives you the opportunity to use ist as right or left turn.
In BRIO terms these are mechanically shwitchable O1 and mirrored O1, P1 and mirrored P1. The inner curve radius is 90mm.
For assembly no glue is needed.
