The file 'Technic Compatible Gears 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 626.0KB.
Here is my take on technic gears. I tried 6 different technic compatible models that already exist, but had issues because the teeth on the printed gears were all slightly too wide to mesh together properly with authentic technic gears.
I did try a few openscad scripts to create gears, and even wrote my own openscad gear generator, but I still needed to edit the resulting model to function like I would expect. That lead me to search further where I stumbled on this python script from otvinta which made it slightly easier for me to draw in blender and narrow the teeth to get things to fit like I wanted. Using the python script for straight gear calculator on http://www.otvinta.com/instantgear.html, I used the resulting gear outline in blender to create 40T and 24T technic compatible gears.
