Sci-fi Deinonychus (compatible with OPR's Saurian Starhost)

Why is it marked as a WIP?

I'm currently working on a spear that will be compatible with the Ripjawdactyl Rider (that is an OPR model that you should 100% buy from their MyMiniFactory store). I also plan on working on different poses for the Deinonychus. Make sure to follow it somehow (like it, favorite it, add to a list, I don't know) if you want to grab more free goodies for your space dino army of miniature figures.

What is it?

It's a Deinonychus model and a Lance/Spear model compatible with the Saurian Starhost army from OnePageRules. This model was created to integrate with the Starthost Ripjawdactyl Rider 1, which you can find on OnePageRules' MyMiniFactory (it's the model seen on top of the Deinonychus in the pictures). Along with the Unsupported version, I have made available some Pre-supports that I created using Chitubox in the Chitubox project. I have test-printed then and they work and seem to print fine on my Creality Halot One.

Why?

Mainly two reasons:

1. I'm learning Zbrush and wanted to work on a personal project. I'm just sharing it for whoever is interested.
2. The Deinonychus model is currently missing from the Saurian Starhost line because the unit was introduced after they were done releasing it. OnePageRules has said that they will work on creating any missing models from past lines over time, so once they actually have a model up for sale, I will completely suggest that everyone buys it to support OnePageRules, as they are my favorite wargaming company and have helped democratize wargaming all over the world. In the meantime, you can use mine to play your favorite space dino army of miniature figures for free.

What can I do with it?

Do whatever you want. You can print it for yourself, print it for a friend and give it as a gift, you can even sell it if you want, or you can modify it and redistribute it as you see fit. There are no warranties on the files, though. If you do something with it, though, give me a shoutout. Or don't, I can't force you to do anything. :-)

If by any means you feel compelled to contribute to my artistic endeavors in any way, I have a PayPal account ([email protected]) but I can't add it to Thingiverse. But definitely don't feel pressured at all to do it, I'm not a full-time artist by a long shot and this is currently a very low-stake thing for me. I love doing it, though, and as I get better and see that people actually like what I do, maybe there's a future for me in this niche.
