The file 'Pod Base 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 3.8MB.
First lets start off with the base's shape; the shape is aerodynamic because of the harsh winds in Mars a building would have to be shaped to cut wind rather then hold wind, the base's shape is resembles to that of an airplane wing cause the wings cut though air. For safety reasons the base does have a pole on the bottom where a hole can be dug to keep it from pushing away; and if that was not enough the base is also chained down by both ends so flying away is not an option (inspiration from MT.Washington Summit Stage Building Where the highest winds recorded). The base is airtight and smooth so dust storms do not destroy it. Because that wind on Mars is strong why not harvest it with two wind turbines generating power; this also cuts down on radiation and can be use to move the base easily with no resistances as both fan can be turned in any direction. In the front of the base is a drill for mining all that ice on mars; so samples are easy and so the crew can have a water supply on board. The good thing is that pods can be hook together for more space or function as a solid unite.
