The file 'Plastic Bag Dryer – Collapsible 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 633.7KB.
Fight plastic with plastic! Designed with gallon or less plastic bags in mind, but is useful for drying other items as well. This model prints and assembles easily with no tools required.
Assemble as shown. You will need to insert the uprights through the holes in the traveller before you install them into the base. Apply moderate downward pressure while moving an upright side to side and it should click into place. Be sure to not let the traveller slide down onto the square column while doing this or you may not have enough wiggle room.
Once all the uprights have been installed, allow the traveller to settle onto the square column and install the nut so the traveller will be held in place when you invert the dryer. if it is too tight you can substitute a 1/4" x 20 TPI nut from the hardware store.
Turn the unit upside down when not in use to save counter space or print the hanger for storage in a cabinet or elsewhere.
Tip - When printing the uprights, allow the print bed to cool before removing them to minimize warping.
This will print with PLA, PLA+, and PETG. PETG is recommended as it is less brittle than PLA.
