This is a pepper's ghost effect for Halloween. It's been designed as a kit, so everything is printed separately, assembled and then painted.
The pepper's ghost effect uses a mobile phone (the bigger the better) to project a video onto a transparent and reflective surface. This surface should be roughly 10cm x 15cm and can be cut from a sheet of transparent styrene, or acrylic.
Alternatively, the Ikea Fiskbo frame inserts (US / UK) just happen to be the perfect size! They're only $1 / 75p, and should be widely available - both offline and online.
There's plenty of videos on YouTube which can be used with this - basically anything with a black background works. In the video, I use the Hallowindow Skull bounce, However the AtmosphereFX hollusion videos are also perfect for this. Especially the ghost girl video.
There's quite a lot to print, but none of it requires supports and should be quick and simple at 0.2mm or 0.3mm layer height. So grab your biggest nozzle, quickest settings, some glue and loads of black paint!
