The file 'Marble Track – Motorized Lift – Battery Coil 3D Printer Model' is (pdf, stl, stp) file type, size is 14.4MB.
I like the modular electrical lift from oostmeijer.
It’s really flexible with the position of the exits and additional inputs.
With the top ring, and the now available stiffening rings, it’s also really stable.
As the cable, coming out of the base plate, was always a thorn in my side, I decided to build a modified coil, to integrate all the electrical parts as the motor, the battery case and a switch.
The case can hold 2 AA batteries, and therefore the minimum height of my coil is a little bit over 200mm.
You can use all the parts from oostmeijer, like the base plate, followers, input, exit, top ring etc.
Like there is no more need to guide a cable outside the base plate, and also the motor is now in the coil, it was possible to reduce the height of the base plate (lower entry).
If you choose this, you should use the shorter version of the “motor coil”.
The original base plate goes with the longer version.
Here is a video.
Under “Thing details” there is an instruction how to build and wire the thing up, and you can find also the data sheets of the battery contacts and the switch.
For the motor I use a “GM15-N20VA-08220-100-10D”.
