This is a map of Central America and South America, but also includes Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, French New Guiana, and the Dominican Republic. All of the countries fit together like a puzzle, but do not have a physical connecting mechanism. It was designed as a way of visualizing what Latin America looks like, instead of using a normal map. This also has the added benefit of being more interactive for the use of activities if needed. The countries have some simplified borders to allow for an easier time printing, since many of the borders were too complex for the printer to print at the current size. On the back of the map on every country is one to five holes, depending on the countries size. These holes have a diameter of one centimeter, and a depth of .3 centimeters, to allow small magnets to be attached to the countries. These magnets allow the map to be placed on a magnetic surface like a whiteboard, but are not necessary for the map to function.
