A first go at a hand-shaped skateboard holder that can mount on a wall. This one holds the skateboard by the trucks, inspired by the mall grab. A normal board will hang and not touch the wall.
This can mount to a wall solidly with one long wood/deck screw. You will want to find a stud and use a screw that is long enough to bite into it.
Printing with 3 perimeters and 60% rectilinear in PETG gave strong and slightly flexible fingers.
This project was a foray into more organic modelling, adding Blender onto the front of my OpenSCAD > Slic3r > Marlin > Folgertech Kossel pipeline. Interested to hear how it works out if you print one. Thoughts and suggestions also welcome. Thanks!
