Summary

First time posting on Thingiverse. Made this model to use as a mini for a D&D Spelljammer campaign that is going to have copious Spaceballs references.

THINGS TO NOTE (in no particular order):

This will be very small by default, you're going to want to size it up about 1000% for use as a battlemap mini (we decided the size is Large in D&D terms, thus you are going to want it to take up about 4 squares on your battlemap)

The model is nowhere near perfect, I put it together in about 2 hours. You can refine or change it as you please, I don't mind.

This is not exactly movie accurate or to scale but more based on our own calculations for what our Eagle 5 in the D&D campaign will be like, and my own approximations based on visual observation of the Eagle 5.

There is some kind of error with this file- My slicer says that there are areas which are not manifold. I am self-taught in 3d modeling and honestly have no idea what this means or how to fix it, but it does not seem to cause any issues with the final printed product as far as I can tell.

You are going to want to generate supports for this.

One of the wings may or may not be slightly crooked? I honestly cannot tell if it actually is crooked, or if I'm just looking at it too hard. If it is, it's only a few degrees off, but if you notice this too please let me know so that I know I'm not crazy and can fix the issue.

The base of the wings do clip through the body of the van a little bit and I was honestly just too lazy to figure out how to fix this, but that can be easily sanded off in the final printed product, or you can edit the model itself if you're actually good at 3d modeling and know how to do it without making the whole wing look weird.

All in all, this is a kind of crappy model I made for fun to use in a silly D&D campaign about space pirates and stuff, but I hope that someone else can find some kind of use for it, or at least also just use it for a silly D&D campaign about space pirates. Maybe someday I'll improve upon this model if anyone actually cares that much.
