This is a remake of a classic Japanese lantern.
Printed in just three different parts:
The base and side parts can be fixed with short 1.75 filament pieces at each corner. I melted the ends of each half inch filament piece and pressed them flat in order to make them look like a small nail.
Then some square transparent paper sheets get cut and glued inside top and side pieces. Pro tip: transparent Nail varnish works like a charm. Just a small drop at each corner and each corner of the inside rectangle.
Remember to use it with cool LED lights only, because the old glow-wire bulbs produce too much heat and may melt or even burn the thing to hell.
The E27 bulb fittings can be found in a hardware store or amazon. When removing the lower rounded part, the part with the lamp thread can snap right into the printed base.
