The file 'GSAP Glock Gen 3 Slide Adapter 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 29.2KB.
I wanted an adapter to fill the gap when running a gen 3 slide on a gen 4 frame.
I saw Strike Industries made a part but I didn't want to spend $15 nor wait to get the part, so I designed one in Autodesk Inventor and 3d printed it!
This is the first version I ever designed but I printed it and it turned out great. It fit on the slide like a glove and doesn't interfere with anything. Slide cycles as normal. In the event I find any issues with it I will upload a v2.0 but I doubt that it'll have issues. Seems to work great.
I'd advise printing in a material that is heat resistant. The radiant heat off the barrel could potentially soften PLA to the point of failure.
