The file 'Crusader Cross 3D Printer Model' is (pde,scad,stl) file type, size is 4.5MB.
So I was chatting with my friend Ixmal Supermarine and we somehow arrived at discussing this cross. The photo is of an actual 12th century cross worn on the clothing of Crusaders. Here we are 900 years later and 3D printing allows us to each have one if we want.
To create the cross I made front and back height maps from the blurred images of the original photo pair, then put them together in OpenSCAD using the surface command and constructive solid geometry.
Only the shape and hole positions are near-replicas of the original because a photo is not a height map, obviously. The original image traced back via Google Images to the following reference:
