Airsoft rail mounted shield for protection of the ammo box/drum & minimal protection to the user from the front only, sides are wide open. Cover range from front is 200mm wide and 250mm tall with a tilt of 20 degrees backwards and sideways.
Designed for metal plates 2mm-18mm thick using 3 M10 bolts to support each plate.
I will be using 3mm thick Aluminium to cut down on weight.
Only the block mounts have nut grooves and the shield mounts have pull pins so you can pull the pin slide out the shield mounts and move faster & lighter when it calls for it. 5mm Pull pin.

3 Point Rail Distances are 30mm from the middle crossing in the photo 60mm across and 30mm deep are all 3 rail center points.
The DXF files are for the laser cutting shop I use.
Complete:
-First design
-Order laser cut metal (2x Plates at 3mm Aluminium $63.25NZD)
-Printing prototype
-Cleaning off and fitting of the prototype
-Edit to design if required reprinting and testing of redesign
-Painting of airsoft gun and shield
-Project Complete
Final edit resized mounting block rails to shield rails for a gap of 1.0 mm for a smoother fit (was 0.2 mm).
