Berliet was a French manufacturer for truck. In the 20's the factory built some trains. Shunter Locomotive using fuel truck engine. Renault absorded the Berliert name in its range of trucks. Berliet was very famous for quality of the trucks and built enormous ones for mining places in Africa.
Train: A small locomotive was born around 1926 In the aim to find an easy and economical way to sort out the train cars for the French railways. Old company PLM bought a few and there were used afterwards by SNCF (national company since 1938).
PLM used capstan and cables to tow train cars. SNCF modified the train and pushed or pulled them for security reasons.
You find here two versions PLM and SNCF. After retired from SNCF, some were used in private firms or tourism resorts. Used over 70 years, many differents models appeared according to the use and need of companies.

You have to fixe exhaust pipe on the roof and bumpers of your own made.
Colors from my documents are not the right ones.
Use Grey color for PLM with possible red or black bumpers
Use green color for cab and black chassis with red bumpers for SNCF but many others ways is possible when used in private firms.
