To help Stella the Siren to make her own silicone mermaid tail, I designed a simple pattern for a scale sheet.
We laser cut 2mm EVA foam and glued the strips to a base, which can be either wood or another big sheet of EVA foam.
The bottom of the tail has small scales, the top big scales. The strip with two round sides is used as the top.
After gluing the strips on a base, we covered it with wood glue to remove small gaps and strengthen the structure.
