Updating this remix, it will take a couple of days.
I borrowed some Lenz track and a switch from my brother who's going to
build an 0-scale layout. My goal is to build 3d-printed
engines and cars and run them together with his rolling stock.
Due to a small problem when I was going to change color when printing the body,
I ended up with upper and lower part of the body. This may be of interest for some.
The good thing is that you save printing time and material (there is hardly no
supportmaterial in the lower part).
The bad thing is that you have to glue them together.
I also made the headlight holes slightly bigger and a channel for rooflight wiring.
Wheels and gear are now made for M3 threaded rod and M3 nuts.
This makes the wheels and gear sit tight and still fully adjustable.
I'm still waiting for motor and bearings from China (it will take some time),
and in the mean time I'm going to redesign the chassi to fit my plans and
intentions.
