This is a stamp for making a repair patch piece for the hatch latch bracket on a Z31 300ZX. This part and the sheet metal it attaches to are often rusted away, and replacements for these parts can be hard to find. Use these stamping molds and the the template for the sheet metal, and you can stamp out a good start to a patch.
Some additional hammer and dolly work and fine tuning for the fit will be required to get it just right, and the flange will need to be bent to 90 degrees prior to install as well (I only limited it to 45 degrees for ease of bending here, breaking the line is the hardest part!
I used 20ga sheet steel for this part, and a large vice to apply clamping pressure to make the part. A hydraulic press would be more ideal.
