The file 'Yet Another Bottle Opener, Customizable 3D Printer Model' is (stl, scad) file type, size is 268.6KB.
A Bottle Opener that is
I am thinking about building a whistle into it also, there should be enough space for a high pitched whistle although i never built a whistle and i could be wrong. Let me know in the comments what you think about this possible "feature". ^^
Since the Bottle Opener needs a strong structure please print it with a 2mm wall and ceiling size only.
I had problems with warping of the ring part, but printing with a rift (Rim) made it better.
The infill is not so important.
The coin needs to be pressed into the slit, i usually press it in by hand a bit and then press the whole Bottle Opener with the coin onto a hard surface (Don't use your table, you will only dent it) until the coin is flush with the side walls.
If your Bottle Opener breaks while doing this or shows visible dents in the side walls your printer is most likely printing the walls too thick, if this is the case you can try to change the tolerance parameter to accommodate for that, take a look below under "How to customize".
To create your Bottle Opener for other coin sizes you have to download the .scad file, open it in OpenSCAD and change the parameters in the head of the file.
You also need the library Chamfered primitives for OpenSCAD to be installed, otherwise you will not be able to render the result.
If you create a version for other currencies please consider writing a comment with the currency name, denomination and size so i can create .stl files for that currency.
