A cute yarn pendant 40mm (1.57") in diameter, with knitting needle gauge holes for the following US needle sizes:

00 - 1.75 mm
0 - 2.00 mm
1 - 2.25 mm
1.5 - 2.50 mm
2 - 2.75 mm
2.5 - 3.00 mm
3 - 3.25 mm
4 - 3.50 mm
5 - 3.75 mm
6 - 4.00 mm
7 - 4.50 mm

(10 - 6.00 mm -- the pendant loop is a bonus needle gauge)

Yarn ball pattern on the front, size labels on the rear. Sizes increase starting from the center (00) and then proceeding in a spiral outwards (clockwise facing the front, counter-clockwise facing the back).

Important: Print with a small nozzle (e.g. 0.25mm) in order to get clean holes and text

Because needles have a small manufacturing tolerance, and 3D printing has some tolerance, and the goal is for the holes to be a snug fit, but not tight/press fit, I exported the files with varying tolerance values (with respect to the hole diameter), ranging from 0.2mm to 0.4mm.

For me, 0.25mm and and 0.30mm are perfect, but smaller is too tight and larger allows for some of the smallest needles to fit into a one-size-smaller hole. All holes are additionally chamfered to optimize fit.

Your 3D printer and needles may be different. I would recommend starting with 0.3mm and then sizing up/down as needed. You can further tune the sizing by using the "X/Y compensation" and/or extrusion multiplier in your slicer settings.

The text is 0.6 mm engraved, and the front yarn texture is 0.6 mm raised, so add color changes at the corresponding layers to create a better contrasting print.
