Simple gearbox for the Sr Viper
Works with a 540 or 380 size motor (pick the correct front and back cover for your size)

• The bolt spacing for the 380 motor is 19mm
• The bolt spacing for the 540 motor is 25mm

UPDATE March 2nd 2020: A friend of mine made some remixes for the transmission which i took and remixed again for a better overall experience. Enclosed lower bearing, bolt near the top of the motor to keep the case closed with heavy motors and a reworked support. (PS.: the picture is old and not showing the new version, sorry)

UPDATE Dec 6 2020: Added "Final_Gear_27T_24DP_Tighter.stl" which has a tighter tolerance for the Hex shaft. Use this if your printer is well calibrated or you want a tighter grip on the shaft.

UPDATE Jan 18 2021: Partial remake, fatter gears, reworked case. Files labeled V12. Older files removed to prevent confusion. Use the Files tab, the Download All button can be outdated and give you old files!

Non-printed parts required :

• (1x) Pinion 32 pitch 11-13 teeth
• (1x) 10x15x4 bearing
• (1x) 8x12x3.5 bearing
• (4x) 3x8x4 bearings
• (7x) M3x20 bolts
• (2x) M2.5x12 bolts (Trans. mount to chassis)
• (Xx) M3 washers (might need them or not, check your clearances)

Notes :

• DO NOT overtighten the bolts that go through the gears or you will lock up your gearbox.
  Use a plastic compatible grease or other suitable lubricant for the gears.
