Raystar REC001602E OLED module is pretty much drop in replacement for LCD module found from vintage Yamaha DX21. Solder pin header to pins 1-14 and it just works electrically.
Physically it is also perfect fit (no need for filing brackets or anything) except that OLED module is 1mm shorter so thicker adhesive tape must be used to secure transparent screen thingy so it won't rattle. But then OLED's "collar" is smaller too so less space for tape and it is hard to get it right.
I ditched adhesive and 3D printer collar which is just tall enough to fix transparent screen by friction. Yeah screen can be moved about 0.5mm by applying some force but I don't think that matters at all (or use very thin adhesive tape to attach collar to the screen).
