The file 'XT60 & LED Quadcopter Mount – Emax Nighthawk 250 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 128.9KB.
This is a mounting system for a securely fixing an XT60 adapter in place to an Emax Nighthawk 250 frame at the back. The mount holds the XT60 in a vertical position which fixes the battery cable in position out of the way of the propellers when the battery is mounted to the top of the frame. It also makes separating the two battery connectors slightly easier and provides strain relief for your wiring loom.
The system is modular so can be used in multiple configurations:
As XT60 Mount only > Just print the top and bottom mount and attach using two M3 nut and bolt pairs. Both brackets mount from the underside of the quadcopters frame. The lower bracket can be turned either way - whichever way gives you the best clamp on the XT60 plug.
As both and XT60 Mount and an LED holder > As in option 1, but print the LED holder and attach below.
To see how the system fits together, have a look at the file which has 'complete' in it's name.
Update - 04/08/2016
I have modified the upper mount for a greater fillet radius at the edges to fit a greater variety of the frame clones out there. I added some height at the same time to the inner section to improve the friction fit. Look for the 'XT60_Top_Mount_2.stl' if you'd like to use this one.
