Summary

This is a small casing for a TT-GO T-Display Version CH9102 with integrated IPS module by Lilygo.

This housing prints in one go. The TT-GO module is fitted afterwards in the slot at the bottom and is internally fixed with the help of an internal stud included in the design. Add a few drops of glue to make it bond. Optionally it is possible to add some internal weight, I use a metal rounded drive shaft key made of carbon steel, 8 x 12 x 50mm Long. The key is embedded in the housing by pausing the printer half way when there is no danger of collision, say above the 70th layer or so and inserting the key with glue.

Warning: To insert the key for weight and stability, the print process MUST be stopped. Inserting afterwards is only a possibility for the T-Display module.

The optional rubber feet are 3M SJ 5327 or equivalent or use foam tape.

The TT-GO T-Display module works with CircuitPython, MicroPython and the Arduino-IDE. It comes with ESP32 Xtensa dual-core LX6 microprocessor and does Wi-Fi 802.11 b/ g/ n and BlueTooth BL V4.2+BLE. The nice thing is, that a 1.14 inch ST7789V RGB IPS display is standard embedded. The main advantage apart from its small size is that this module is very cheap. I use it as a wireless BitCoin tracker and an OpenWeatherMap weather station. The T-Display Version CH9102 is available in 4MByte and 16MByte versions. Tip: Select the correct version of CircuitPython as they both have their own version of CircuitPython.
