This conversion kit is to switch out the original (and proprietary) Xiaomi charger barrel-plug to a XT-30 plug that is commonly available. As when trying to find loose plugs to switch out a broken plug requires you to buy a whole new charger. So to circumvent this why not just switch out the charging plug completely? The XT-30 can also handle a continuous amperage at around 30A so if your BMS can handle that charging rate that could be another use of this connector.
