It should be waterresistant. I tried to put it underwater for a while ant it seems to be waterproof.
After assembling I used a hot air gun on cover to form it little bit, that closing fit accurate. And then I applied cca 1mm layer of silicon.
One more important thing, I forgot that the buttons are outside the screen :) Also it can be controlled only thru display :). I can live with it...
Extra material needed:
I used touchable foil from some old tablet case. It's stuck with super glue and secured with melted plastic plugs.
Some M3, M4 screews and nuts.
And some M3 metal rods.
The white seal is regular silicon used in bathrooms.
