The file 'WW2 Type 24 Brick Skinned Pill Box Or Machine Gun Post 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.4MB.
A brick skinned type 24 pillbox from the second world war. Scaled at 1/32, reduce or enlarge as required.
Drawn from plans by D. G. Collyer found online.
Suitable for a maximum of 5 LMG's with a garrison of 8 men.
This one is brick skinned, but they were also constructed from poured concrete with timber or corrugated iron as shuttering. There are a number of good websites giving more detail descriptions of these ant the other types of pillbox.
I have not printed this yet, but will post photos when I do.
There are two versions of the main structure, one is hollow, aimed at resin printers to save on resin, the other is solid. All parts should print without supports on an FDM printer
I think assembly is self explanatory.
I have also added a 1 piece 4mm scale version orientated to print on it's roof, this should print ok without supports.
Please post photos of your makes, it is good to see how others have used my models.
