Summary

This here is my first bigger project (which means there is more than 100 grams of plastics involved). It was primarily designed for the halloween contest and - of course - for the halloween party I will go to.

The costume is called "Wonderland"! It should help you get access to your personal creative sense - or for being the attraction center on a halloween party :) Most parts of what you see are 3D-printed. The cards, the chains, the hat and much more. For a full costume that you can wear outside you actually only need some shoes and a skirt (and maybe a shirt, depending on how cold it is).

I would recommend to see this costume more as an art collection of dreamy, playful and colorful objects you can use for your halloween costume.

For example, you can just use the hat or the belt. Your descision!
Oh and I would recommend not only to color the objects, but also to decorate them with some small jewelry or other little parts. Again: You decide :) In the documentation you see details to every object as well as how I painted and decorated the things. I would strongly recommend to take a look in there before you print something from Wonderland! However I know how boring documentations can be. So for those who don't have time, here are some key facts:

Here is what you definately need:

  • glue (use the right glue, e.g. plastic glue)
  • cord or tie

Here is what you can need:

  • rubber
  • glitter
  • jewelry (false one of course)
  • color (can be ben, sprays, acrylic or anything)
  • EL wire or LED light sources
  • food and drink (to get some energy during the make)

Oh and every object is designed to be plugged with bolts and glued with ... glue, obviously. They all fit on a 25 x 21 cm printbed without any problem.

If there are any issues, just contact me.
