The file 'WMIK Land Rover – Kit Of Parts… 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 9.4MB.
This complements the WMIK Land Rover 110 posting. I had a minor brain-wave, and decided that the way round the problem with printing the framework is to festoon it with kit, as can be seen from photographs of the real thing. Accordingly, I have provided a 'kit of parts' to permit these to be added to the basic framework before printing (I use 3D Builder to do this). If positioned sensibly, and partly intruding into the framework, it can strenghten it hugely and permit easier printing.
The basic framework is demonstrated with some additions to demonstrate the point; two variants indicating different ways of printing are included, as the top does not print nicely if completely integrated (I print it with the legs sticking up). Need to investigate this further...
I have included a back pack; sand channels in 'raw' and strengthened form (difficult); weapons (also available on the main post), a spare wheel, and other bits as I develop them.
Hope to add more bits as time permits.
Should be scaleable to suit other interests; these are in 1:76 scale.
There are almost an infinite variety of these vehicles, and stowage varies from oepration to operation, so almost anything goes!
