The design

UPDATE:
After getting some comments about the back lacking air vent for the airflow I've now redesigned the back so it has a hole for the air to pass through.

I read an article where they stated that blowing air over a wide area delivers prints with less warping than shrouds that concentrate the air. I've seen this type of "wing fan system" on another printer using another hotend so I thought I'd make one for the E3D V6. I haven't had time to test it fully but from what I've managed to test, it seems to perform really good this far. It uses 3x 40mm fans attached to the magnetic X-carriage designed by me. It's on a Tevo Tarantula but could probably be mounted on any printer with an E3D V6 hotend.

WHAT YOU NEED

4x M4x20 for the backplate.
8x M3x16 or M3x20 for the fans.
3x 40mm fans.

HOW TO INSTALL
  • Screw the front and the back with M4 screws.
  • Screw the side fans with M3 screws.
  • Screw the front fan with M3 screws.
