This latch is a replacement for a latch that has a center to center mounting hole distance of about 2 and 9/16ths of an inch. This requires the use of the spring from the original tilt latch for actuation. Though, I'm sure you could use many different springs to obtain the same result.
As this is going to be in direct sunlight, I imagine that PLA is a poor choice for this, but that's the only white I had when deciding to design and print this so we'll see how it holds up, but I expect to be replacing it with a PETG print in the semi-near future.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
NOTE: I just realized that it may not be obvious to everyone that the model for the housing is side agnostic, where as the actual latching mechanism needs to be mirrored for one side (this is how it was designed). This is an easy operation in cura by just right clicking on the model that you want to mirror and clicking the mirror option. If anyone finds that it is too difficult to do with their slicer, just comment below and I'll make it a point to have the mirrored side uploaded as soon as possible. Otherwise, I'll upload it in a few weeks.
Update 7/14/2019:
