The file 'Wind Turbine INVELOX 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 6.0MB.
A wind turbine based on the published dimensions of 'Invelox' wind turbine.
Use 8mm bar for axle, ~2 x skater bearings, 1 x thrust bearing, 72 x neodymium magnets, M3 bolts. Look at Robert Murray-Smith's youtube/tinkercad/thingiverse for the details of the hardware since this is a highly remixed modification of his material.
The magnets on the outer and inner rings should have opposite polarity facing eachother (rotate the outer ring by 90° until you achieve this).
Don't expect too much wind capture from this design! I am limited by the size of my printer.
Obviously it would benefit from the funnel having a larger catchment (i.e. more funnels/bigger funnels). I got ~35vdc (wired to a rectifier) by blasting it with a room fan at close range, with 700 turns of 0.1mm guage wire.
So - print more, wire them in series, increase the wind capture and this could be an effective yet discrete way of generating electricity.
