Summary

When my father is downstairs, he often doesn't hear my mom when she calls him, so I made this Wifi Alarm.

I used e Wemos D1 Mini with an ESP8266, a buzzer, 5 LEDs and resistors and designed and printed a case. For the top of the case I used transparent PLA to see the LEDs.

The Alarm can be triggered by calling an URL from your phone, tablet, PC, etc.

The URL is eg. http://192.168.1.220/t=15 where 15 is the number of seconds for which the alarm shall ring.

I provied the source code in WifiAlarm.ino, you will at least have to change the SSID and WiFi password and probably also the static IP address.

The LEDs are connected to the pins D1, D2, D3, D5 and D6 (I didn't use D4 because the built in LED is connected to this pin).
The buzzer is connected to pin D7

To make it easy for my mom, I installed the app HTTP Shortcuts on her phone, which allows to create a shortcut on the homescreen which calls an URL.
