The file 'WH148 Potentiometer Adapter & Mounting Bracket For Thrustmaster T80 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 31.0KB.
The steering in the game was horrible, it was randomly jumping due to worn potentiometer.
I didn't want to spend a lot of money for the original potentiometer, it's a bit expensive with shipping to my country, so I decided to make an adapter and a mounting bracket for WH148 potentiometer. It works the same as the original one, just larger and it has different shaft ending.
The original potentiometer is b10k, so b10k is the perfect choice. My potentiometer is a b100k stereo, but I connected the 2 channels in parallel, that reduces the 100kOhm resistance to 50kOhm. Higher resistance makes more noise on the output, so lower is better, but I wouldn't go under 10k, because it's not designed to that. Lower resistance means more current, which means more power consumption and more heat.
PS:
I'm new in 3D printing and modelling.
