The file 'Wen Dial Indicator Holder For Ender 3 V3 SE 3D Printer Model' is (obj, stl) file type, size is 20.6KB.
My prints were starting to fail consistently and finally reaching a point where nothing would print. After some research, I determined the z-axis was off. After fixing it with the paper trick, I wanted a better solution.
So, I cobbled together a basic holder for a dial indicator. I could find lots of mounts and holders for a dial indicator but not for the Ender 3 v3 SE. The only way I could think to measure the z-axis from side to side was to put the indicator on the bed and get the measurements that way. I figured the indicator just needed a sturdy place to sit and I could indicate the z-axis that way.
It works quite well. The WEN indicator does 1/1000ths of an inch but you only need to zero out one side and then adjust the other until it hits zero. I wouldn't call this high precision but it seems to be precise enough for my purposes.
This is designed specifically for this model of indicator. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BFFW2335/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
I will provide the OBJ file so if anyone needs to modify it to fit a different indicator, they can.
