A weather-resistant housing for sparkfun's PIR motion sensor:
https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8630 ...the idea being to join together many water-resistant PIR sensors in a long daisy chain with cat5 cable and connectors.
There is a huge gulf between "water resistant" and "water proof", Caulk everything. The sensor in particular needs caulk to stay put.
Improvements from 0.0.1 include
a) A lid that actually prints, and even snaps on securely
b) Keyed cat5 receptors that rotate less in the main housing (Not perfect)
c) Made the housing roomier just by rotating the sensor 90 degrees
