Please post a make if you print this! I love seeing people make my designs!
Waterproof survival tubes designed to hold a variety of things. They'll fit pens/pencils, small flashlights, batteries, sewing kit, fishing kit, matches...you name it! I made them in two different sizes and two different styles of each size. Each size is about 150mm (6") long in both the single- and double-ended versions. The small is about 33mm (1.3") in diameter and the large is about 42mm (1.6") in diameter. Place an o-ring at the base of the threads. The cap will crush it down and create the waterproof seal.
ONLY PRINT THE TUBES UPRIGHT! The single-ended ones will print upright without supports. The double ended ones might need a little support for the base of the threads. The caps will print without supports if laid flat. I suggest printing the double ended tubes with rafts, so the threads don't get messed up. For fastest, strongest, most watertight printing, set your slicer at 99.99% infill with concentric pattern.
As always, tips are appreciated, if you're feeling generous. <3
