After I bought a Fluval Flex 35l/9g (okay... mainly because it looked nice) I quickly noticed some flaws and / or opportunities to tinker :-)
So I started to redesign and add some things. This is Part 5 of the project.
The whole project will cover cooling, heating, light control, water refill (and whatever idea I will have in addition) using an ESP micro controller and without any destructive modifications at the tank hardware.
This is a holder for a hose from an automatic water level controller like Tunze Osmolator nano (the one I use) or any other using a 6mm/0.25in hose
Print the parts and put the flex_clip over the hose. Fix it with the flex_screw_long through both holes and to the upper side of the holder.
then put the flex_screw_short into the other tapped hole but don't screw it in too far.
place the holder on the dividing wall between the intake chamber and the filter chamber and lock it into position by tightening the short screw.
The hose easily fits through the gap at the middle of the lid.
The models should be printed in the orientation of the stls
All models can be printed without support
Print:
1x flex_screw_short
1x flex_screw_long
1x flex_clip
1x flex_holder
Use PETG, PA or any other food safe material and water the model for at least 24h before inserting it into the tank.
[UPDATE 14/JUN/2019]
fixed the orientation of the screws
