The file 'Wargame Counter Sled For 5/8″ Or 16mm Counters In Hex Games 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 6.2KB.
UPDATE: v2 added which has better tolerances and also has a side to stop counters slipping out.
Recently got back into some old hex games of my childhood and wanted to reduce the usage of marker counters and help with stacking/spotting.
As such I've created a counter sled that can be used upright to conceal 'hidden' units from the opponent, and can also be tipped flat to expose the unit to both players when spotted.
This version can hold 5 counters (roughly 1.4mm thick) as stacks. Mainly so it can handle a game such as Tactical Game X (modern rules for Panzer Leader) where you have a maximum of 4 stacked units and also to handle a disrupted/double disrupted counter. I'll probably rotate the units 90 degrees to simulate that they have moved/fired/completed rather than using yet another counter
The top and bottom ends that contain the counters can also be grabbed to make moving the units about much more easily.
