I like to clip my wargame counters, when paying games like Advanced Squad Leader.
I've designed this basic little frame for holding counters, then I can snip the corners off with a craft knife.
Included is the STL for a version with a gap that takes a 2.5mm triangle off the corners. It is designed in FreeCAD, and if you open the FreeCAD file you can change any of the values in the "Params" spreadsheet object to modify this model, and it should automatically recompute.
Generally, I use a 2.5mm gap size clipper for ½" counters, and a 3mm gap size for ⅝" counters.
