This is my take on a 3d printable wankel rotary engine with custom designed rounded gears for easy printing. While there are other wankel engines on here I don't like how they use standard involute gears on 3d prints because they have sharp corners that don't tend to be strong so I created one with rounded gears that print much stronger and faster. The other reason I made this was because I got bored and its a great way to learn a CAD software...

There are a few different turning mechanisms that I designed but all configurations require you to print the HOUSING+BASE and the ROTOR and the ECCENTRIC DRIVE. For turning mechanisms you can make
AXLE and HANDLE
or
AXLE and FINGER TURN
or the
TURN KNOB
The TURN KNOB or AXLE should be printed with a much higher infill percentage then the rest of the parts.
All parts have been printed at least twice by me and tweaked for better printing. I fixed the parts together using 5 minute epoxy being careful where it ended up.
If you do make one please post some pictures of how it turned out. Feel free to let me know if you run into any issues while printing.
