This remixed bracked is using an 8mm hole to fit and fix the gauge. Center of the hole is 8mm from the back plane. The back of the gauge has to be flat.
The remix is only altered as little as possible from the original. The original fits really good on the printer, so that part is untouched.
The problem with the original (for me) is to get the gauge really fixed to the bracket.
Use the gauge together with this mod bed height adjuster:

Now you can level the bed without worrying about the height. The height is later adjusted with the height adjuster and you are good to go. The height adjuster is my #1 mod!
