Modifications:
Articulated Fingers: Each finger features an articulated design for enhanced grip and movement. They are printed flat without supports for a clean finish.
Piston Joint Enhancements: The piston joint end caps have been adjusted to sit flush with the arm, resulting in a sleeker and more polished appearance. As shown in the image, I haven't yet pushed the arm joint together. Opening it later to strip and paint will be a hassle.
Arm Joint: I accidentally glued the servo brackets into the frame before inserting the shaft. If you encounter a similar issue, the joint modification I've implemented will help you resolve it.
Materials Used:
Arm Shaft: PLA
Other Components: PETG
Finger Printing Technique: For the best results, print the fingers flat without supports. Moving them while still warm can help reduce the risk of breakage.
Conclusion:
This modified arm is perfect for enhancing your Chillibasket projects, providing improved finger and wrist articulation along with a streamlined look. Happy printing!
