Summary

I wanted an out the front mount for my wahoo elemnt roam for my canyon h11 cockpit. the mount that I got from canyon did not flow well with the aerodynamics of the wahoo mount so I made one. This one is like the canyon mount and the wahoo roam mount had a baby…

I made it so it has a twist mount that can be printed separately and then bolted in. so if it breaks it can be replaced easily. The twist mount was modeled after the K-Edge mount.

this also has 2 little bumpers printed out of TPU like the factory wahoo mount so it doesn't rattle and fits snug.

you will need 2 m3 x 3mm bass heat set inserts and 2 m3 x 4mm screws. To mount it to your cockpit you will need 2 m3 x 30 mm screws.

I would recommend printing the mount out of PETG at least, ASA or PA6-CF or any Carbon Fiber Nylon.

I printed the main body out of PolyMaker PA6-CF Carbon fiber Nylon with supports with 6 shells. I also printed it with 100% infill just for the strength and since it's PA6-CF it's still pretty light. If you want you can block out the aero part in a slicer and print it with an infill to save filament.

the twist mount was printed with no supports out of PLA

the bumpers were printed out of TPU. you can use 95a but I used nijaflex 85a TPU
