The file 'WAHL Bravura (1870) Replacement Button 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 131.7KB.
Simple button replacement for the WAHL Bravura 1870, since the rubber buttons degrade over time and gum up or stop working.
Mileage may vary with different WAHL models.
INSTRUCTIONS:
(PRINT MODELS UPSIDE DOWN)
I would recommend a very slow speed, 100% infill, 0.15mm or lower (normal, or extra fine in cura).
Undo the two screws located underneath the blades, pull the case apart from the top, it will hinge open.
Remove existing white plastic collar around the rubber button (this is plastic welded to four spots, use a small flathead to gentry pry up until it pops out).
Use flush cutters or an exacto blade to cut away the four posts that held the collar in.
(DO NOT cut the notch on the bottom of the fitting, or do, I'm not your dad).
After printing the files, the collar should fit perfectly in to the area that the old collar sat. Use a little bit of super glue on the edges and allow to dry.
Lightly sand or file away any burs or artifacts from the button. You may need to sand the the nubs on the sides to get a perfect fit, depending on your printer. The same goes for the rails on the collar. Test fit before installing.
